I am a convert to Judaism and I am ever thankful for Hashem's interventions on the way I got my conversion from a very good rabbi in Meah Shearim. I have studied alone in my home for almost four years, cried a river for my soul who is yearning to be recognized as a Jew. As I read your posts, I give you all the brachot that Hashem give you the strength and wisdom to save those Jews who are blindsided. Even as a child, I knew I was different from all the goyim in my country, after coming to Israel, it dawned on me that I possess a Jewish soul. Children of Am Israel! Do not trade your souls easily to false religion. Hashem our Aba is great and infinite, woe to them who claim otherwise. May we merit the speedy arrival of our Moshiach ben David. Sincerely yours, Ayalah bat Avraham Avinu
"If a Jew doesn't make Kiddush (to sanctify himself by maintaining a distinctly Jewish lifestyle), then the non-Jew will make Havdalah for him (by making the Jew realize he is truly different)."
- R' Chaim of Volozhin
Why don't Jews believe in Jesus?
An answer from Rabbi Shraga Simmons. An answer from Rabbi Stuart Federow. An answer from Ohr Somayach. An answer from Rabbi Tovia Singer. An answer from Rabbi Michoel Drazin.
“What is the Jew?...What kind of unique creature is this whom all the rulers of all the nations of the world have disgraced and crushed and expelled and destroyed; persecuted, burned and drowned, and who, despite their anger and their fury, continues to live and to flourish. What is this Jew whom they have never succeeded in enticing with all the enticements in the world, whose oppressors and persecutors only suggested that he deny (and disown) his religion and cast aside the faithfulness of his ancestors?!
The Jew - is the symbol of eternity. ... He is the one who for so long had guarded the prophetic message and transmitted it to all mankind. A people such as this can never disappear.
The Jew is eternal. He is the embodiment of eternity."
"Listen world, I am a Jew, I am a Zionist, and I pledge myself to Return to the bosom of Judaism; to its teachings and commandments, to the Yoke of Heaven to which I gladly bow." --- Rabbi Meir Kahane HY"D
